The self-proclaimed mad scientist "Hououin Kyouma". Founder of the Future Gadget Laboratory and Lab Member No. 001. Discovers that the lab's Phone Microwave can send a D-Mail to the past, draws the attention of SERN, and spends the rest of the story paying for it.
He works closely with Kurisu Makise and protects Mayuri Shiina. His attempts to reach the Steins Gate worldline drive the whole plot.
